Community Impact

For almost four decades, supporting partner agencies have been an integral part of the important work carried out by the Funtastic Sports Society. Together with our sponsors and volunteers, we have been working to improve people’s lives by funding not-for-profit agency partners and their programs that meet the sport and recreation needs within the community – and working towards building a strong network of groups working together.

According to Healthy Families BC, encouraging residents of all ages to achieve and maintain their best possible health is a priority. Healthy communities support their residents in adopting healthier lifestyles by providing access to physical activities, nutritious foods, tobacco-free environments and social interactions that promote positive mental health. Communities that support healthy living make it easier for all residents, regardless of age or ability, to make healthy choices every day.

Your support helps us fund a network of partner agencies offer easier access to sport and recreation opportunities to their clients. They provide vital services to hundreds of people throughout the region. They include:
