Vernon & District Funtastic Sports Society is ecstatic to announce their bands for the 2015 Save On Foods Funtastic slo-pitch tournament from June 26th to June 29th. The annual A & W Music Festival is an integral component of Funtastic presented each evening from June 26th to June 28th of the tournament drawing up to 6000 patrons an evening.
Headliners are: “Bif Naked” opening night Friday; “BC/DC” (AC/DC), “The Nightrain” (Guns “n’ Roses) and “Leggz (ZZ Top)” for Tribute Night Saturday, culminating on Sunday night with “Moist”. Getting everyone in the mood will be feature bands “The Goods” and C&W band “Hog Wild” starting the Friday night music. “The Dirt”, Shawn Lightfoot Band” and “The Young ‘uns”will charge up Sunday night.
A&W music festival tickets go on sale May 11th at Funtastic’s office at 3401-35th Ave. Vernon or online at http://funtasticsports.ca , or at the beverage garden ticket office near the ball diamonds during Funtastic. Tickets are available as a $25 daily pass or a $50 weekend pass for all 3 days of the music festival. No minors, please.
